Here…Now…. & Later by Eline & Akshaya

Change is transpiring at speed velocity this inspires more change on infinite levels of being.
As we flow with the changes presented to us in our immediate reality through divine intervention, we see all the changes that need to be made in our internal realms of total being-ness: physically, emotionally, mentally & spiritually.
Lately we have been going inside ourselves clarifying what we really want in our lives, focusing on that with full intention at all moments and getting rid of old habits that are no longer supporting this process.
The retreat will allow us to immerse ourselves without the mundane distractions of everyday life with the support of nature and our community of truth seekers on the same spirit path enabling us to create a sacred space of transformation utilizing all of our divine tools for spiritual liberation.

Power Plants - Self-Exploration to Liberation by Eugene Bersurker

Alexander Shulgin, a famous explorer of consciousness, once wrote “Since almost all discoveries about the world can be used for both benign and lethal purposes, it is essential that we begin to develop a way of exploring and understanding those forces within our subconscious selves which will inevitably make those decisions.” The forces that Shulgin mentions are the accumulated momentum of reactions to our past traumas, conditioning, and other intensified mental impressions. These forces, causing us to be stuck in reoccurring situations and negative states of mind, constantly influence our choices in life. Only by realizing these forces in a direct experience, can one slowly begin to transcend the influence, and make the powerful and conscious choices in life.
The forces of our past are strongly dependent on their product, which is the routine of our daily lives. By changing our routines, we can experience these forces directly, and even realize their origin. The retreats are a powerful way to completely come out of the momentum of our day-to-day routines. Such a space creates an opportunity to witness the inner workings of one’s existence.
All spiritual paths are aimed at realizing self and gaining mastery over these forces, thereby arriving at freedom and well being. Amazon tradition of power- plant shamanism is an incredibly powerful approach to self-realization. It aligns perfectly with any previously followed discipline, and takes it to the next level. As Shulgin concludes, “these tools – the psychedelic plants – offer a much faster method than most of the classical alternatives for the accomplishment of the goals we seek: conscious awareness of our inner workings and greater clarity as to our responsibilities towards our own species and all others with whom we share this planet.”

Unwinding Your Karmic Tensions by Kate Kelly

As living beings, human and animal alike, we all have one thing in common, and that is our innate ability to release tensions and traumas that pass through and or accumulate in our bodies. In essence, we all have the ability to “heal” ourselves. This profound universal wisdom has been lost to us humans over centuries of conditioning in order to align with society’s standards, yet it is ready and available to us, at every moment, if only we are willing to listen and to allow the process to happen.
Every living animal has the same processes occurring within, as a response to everyday stresses and circumstance. I am referring to the fight or flight response, as well as the freeze response (playing dead). When in a state of distress, the inner function goes into panic, causing our muscles to harden, our breathing to become shallow and fast, all as a means to “protect” itself. Likewise, when a trauma or accident is just about to occur we go into a freeze response or in other words we “brace ourselves” to protect us from the impact. Now the one thing that distinguishes us from our fellow furry friends is that, unlike animals that are able to release the energy from their bodies after such an encounter, humans tend to stay in this hardened protective state, which prohibits the energy from moving out of our bodies. Hence the reason we are all walking around like zombies and living with “stress” in our shoulders, our backs, our necks, etc.
Our bodies are intelligent designs. They are conductors of electromagnetic energy and light. When we remain in a state of stress, or in other words the fight or flight or freeze response, the messages that are being sent to the brain are that we are constantly experiencing a threat, that we need to be cautious, that we need to be alert and afraid, and that we must protect ourselves. We can never relax! And if we cannot relax, this energy and light that our bodies are designed to move, becomes stagnant. These stagnations or vortexes of dark energy become the sources or the origins of “dis-eases” and pain in the body.
If you’ve ever had the opportunity to observe animals in the wild, there is an amazing phenomenon that occurs when they are injured or come out of a freeze response. They begin to shake, sometimes violently, and torque their bodies in all kinds of interesting positions. Have you ever been hurt either physically or emotionally, and someone said to you “just shake it off”? Well, perhaps if we literally took that advice, whatever pain we were experiencing in that moment could have been released instead of buried down into the subconscious on top of all the other things we have been burying since we were little kids. And that is what we do as humans. We do not allow ourselves to feel. In fact, we learn at a very young age that feeling is not appropriate, or that it “shouldn’t be”.  “Stop crying”, “shut up”, “be strong”, “quit your whining”. The list could go on and on with all of the conditioning and restrictions we have placed upon ourselves. And what we don’t realize, and what no one ever teaches us, is that our tissues not only store tension, they store emotion and memory as well. So when we refuse ourselves the right to cry or to kick and scream we refuse our bodies the right to release the energy, therefore over time creating ourselves as volcanoes ready to erupt.
Now obviously, most of us are not going to feel comfortable or able to release and to express ourselves in such ways in public, nor should we overindulge in such behaviors as it is extremely counterproductive. However, in a therapeutic environment where it is safe and encouraged to tap into these deep blockages and tissue memory (with the assistance of a trained therapist), we most definitely should take advantage of the opportunity so that we may get in touch with our REAL essence, our birthright, that which makes us human and animal.  Feeling our pain, our fear, our anxiety, our anger, is the only true way to release it from our being. So many clichés capture this so profoundly! (“You’ve got to feel it to heal it”, “No pain no gain”, “That which doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”.) True statements indeed, yet unfortunately left construed and misinterpreted over time.
Through many different methods available to you, our retreats will provide the safe space and support in which you will be able to experience yourself in ways you could never have imagined. You will access your inner voice and intuition. You will find within you the inner strength and courage needed to heal yourself. You will begin to unravel and unwind the holding patterns and habits that inhibit you, restrict you, and prevent you from accessing your full self-expression, and most importantly you will learn how to do this in a responsible manner. And just remember that it is perfectly normal to be afraid. We are all afraid, yet we do not have to let this fear dominate our lives. It is time to remember who you really are, and to give yourself the permission to let it all go. After all, it is only through letting go of control that we actually gain it.

Re-inspiring the Life Batteries by Roman Hanis

“Behind the veils revealing itself, is an all embracing, omnipotent & omnipresent infinite potential of luminous essence.”
Since ancient times spiritual practitioners have been tapping into the eternal source of creative vibrant universal life energy, learning how to upkeep and grow this connection in the most unwavering, equanimous and devoted way of being. Many experiences of transcendental unity of opposites in nature have been recorded throughout human history in all parts of our planet. As a result each culture has created it's own description of our true nature through customs, traditions and ways of life that point and train us to let go of all stale concepts and tap into this indescribable essence of all life in the universe. For thousands and thousands of years these lineages of transmission have been treated with great reverence and secret, and only a selected few were initiated into these traditions of esoteric wisdom that unravel the veils of illusion. Behind the veils revealing itself is, an all embracing, omnipotent and omnipresent infinite potential of luminous essence that extends itself through the fabric of time and space leaving only pure uncontainable oneness.
The positive benefit of our current society is that we are very fortunate to be living at a time when all this accumulated divine wisdom of humanity is available for us to utilize towards an uninterrupted enlightenment that will benefit countless beings in the universe.
The negative side effect of today's society is that it thrives on superficial values that inhibit the inherent natural wellness, love and interconnectedness that we are meant to experience just as birds are meant to fly freely in the sky. The lack of meaning and true purpose in every day life functions can bring about a deficit of inspiration, yet if perceived differently can actually become a source of inspiration to strive towards a more heart centered way of life. It is becoming more and more obvious that for that to happen there should be a multifaceted spiritual discipline piercing through all the cultural and conceptual differences in order to generate a fluid source of well being and in the face of many pitfalls and circumstances of today’s life, still enable us to experience the clear space of openness, loving kindness and the presence of awareness.
It can be quite challenging without the practices that cultivate awareness to be fully present. There are so many essential life errands and behavior patterns in everyday life, that create wear and tear, as they are seemingly unrelated and superfluous to our true nature.
Everyone who can see the potential of this pure intent that can shift dimensions can intensify it thousand fold. We can do this by connecting with like hearted humans on their way towards realizing the true purpose of all abiding love.
The intent of SpiritPath as I see it, is to maintain the realm of infinite possibilities and create an intercultural portal towards seeing one bio-luminescence that is the source of all spiritual disciplines, practices, beliefs and our own existence. The practices and traditions of the world in places where nature is flourishing such as the Amazon and where freedom soars through the mountains like the Andes are extremely beneficial in my own experience for a powerful insight of a more profound connection with the luminescence that is our true nature. After many years of visiting these planetary shrines within mother nature, I am now more than ever seeing that it is an immense blessing to be able to experience the one reality in these sacred places. Furthermore I am inspired to not only have, but to share this diverse array of spiritual tools and practices.
The higher purpose of SpiritPath retreats is to actually integrate this wisdom into our everyday lives, which in turn will continue to gather momentum of deep universal meaning into each simple and seemingly unrelated everyday action, converting it into a universal intent towards total freedom.

SpiritPath Newsletter December 2007

As the intensity in the world increases, many of our subconscious tensions are triggered and brought to the surface. These tensions block the flow of life through our bodies and minds, creating different problems, poor choices, diseases and accidents in our life. Awareness is what is needed to realize and transform these karmic blockages. The retreats are a great way to deeply expand our awareness of self, as well as develop new levels of equanimity, peace, and harmony with the occurring reality. We invite you to come and learn to maintain your center in any circumstance and under any intensity; to expand your skills of healing and self-knowledge; to realize and transcend deep rooted fears and limitations and take your whole life to a new level of experience.

Here is a summary of some basic info about the retreats:

The Amazon retreats are designed to assist you in purifying the accumulated personal experience, in order to create freedom from past limitation. By removing the blockages, more light is able to shine through. As the energy increases, the perception shifts into higher states of being. The retreats are shamanic, but include tools and techniques from many different paths, specifically integrated for the mental state and needs of each participant. The power plants are a major aspect of the retreat, although some people choose not to participate in plant ceremonies. The major benefit comes from being continuously immersed in the naturally harmonious vibration of the rain forest, while being away from all routines and habits of personal life. Participants can either diet in isolation or participate in group activities, or both. There is usually one facilitator for every 3 participants, which insures plenty of one on one work, if desired. The activities include frequent nightly Ayahuasca ceremonies, San Pedro ceremonies, daily sessions of yoga, meditation, massage, different modalities of energy work, personal coaching, plant diets, hikes, practices of dreaming, and relaxation.

The Amazon retreat is 15 days long, and we ask US$ 2000, which includes everything from morning of day 1 until evening of day 15. If you register before the end of the year, we will be happy to provide $100 early registration discount. It is advised to come a day or two early and leave a day or two after the retreat ends on day 15, in order to give yourself some time to see Iquitos and to initially adjust to rain forest environment, as well as reground a bit, before returning home. The flights and your stay outside the retreat dates are not included in the cost, but we will be happy to help you with all the arrangements. Please check in with us about the cost of the Machu Pichu Pilgrimage. Also, we are willing to work with people who cannot afford the requested donation listed above. Please contact us regarding this possibility.

To travel, you will need to fly into Lima, and transfer to a local flight to Iquitos (1.40 hours, around $160 round trip) Hopefully you can wait in the airport for your transfer, which is a very pleasant place to wait. If your transfer is overnight, there is a hotel in the airport for around $80.

To register for the SpiritPath Amazon retreat, please fill out the retreat applications, and submit a 30% deposit either by credit card through paypal (with a 4% transaction fee) or by mailing us a check. The rest of the payment is due in cash or traveler's checks on the first day of the retreat.
